Directions to Franschhoek Country House & Villas
- Exit the airport keeping to the left and take the N2 (Settlers Way) towards Somerset West.
- Driving away from Cape Town on the N2, take the first Stellenbosch turnoff (named Baden Powell Drive, R310).
- Continue on this road travelling towards Stellenbosch.
- You will eventually pass the Spier Wine Estate (on your right).
- A few kilometres after Spier, the road will end into a T-junction (13km from the N2 turn-off).
- Turn right at the T-junction and travel into Stellenbosch 4km further.
- You will pass over a 3 traffic lights - keep to your left.
- The road ends into a T-junction at which you turn left.
- Pass over 3 traffic lights and shortly after the third set, turn right at a set of robots at the sign “Franschhoek / Idas Valley”.
- This road will take you over the mountain on the Helshoogte pass, throug Johannesdal and through Pniel and ends in a T-Junction.
- This T-junction is shortly after the Boschendal Wine Estate (which would have been on your right).
- Turn right at the T-junction onto the R45 to Franschhoek. This road will take you straight into Franschhoek approximately 13km further.
- Franschhoek Country House has a yellow coloured wall and is situated 1,5 km before the main town of Franschhoek.
- On the right hand side, next to Grande Provence Wine Estate.
- From Adam Tas/R44 turn right into Helshoogte Rd
- Drive along till the very end then turn right onto the R45
- The road takes you into Franschhoek, destination is on the right.
- Take the N2 towards Cape Town.
- Approximately 10km after Caledon, turn right onto the R43 towards Villiersdorp.
- Drive straight down this road and at the T-junction turn left.
- After 8km, just before the bridge over the water, turn right onto R45 (signposted for Franschhoek ).
- This is a straight road that after 10km goes over the Franschhoek pass and down into Franschhoek.
- Upon entering the Village, turn right into Main Road (The Huguenot Monument will be on your left).
- Continue through the town.
- You will find us about 2km out of town down the Main road on the left hand side next to a restaurant called Allora.
- We are a yellow mustard colored building.
- Take the N1 north bound and exit the city towards Paarl
- Take the second exit after the Engen 1 Stop filling station "Klapmuts"
- At the bottom of the exit, turn right
- Approximately 1 km further cross over the intersection
- Take the next turn left with signage "Franschhoek:
- Continue on this road until it ends at a t-junction where you turn right
- Continue straight to Franschhoek
- Take exit 47 of the N1 and take the R44 towards Stellenbosch.
- Cross the R101 and then turn left onto The Simondium Road.
- Turn right onto the R45 and continue to Franschhoek.
- Franschhoek Country House has a yellow coloured wall and is situated 1,5 km before the main town of Franschhoek.
- On the right hand side, next to Grande Provence Wine Estate.
- From Exit 43 take the R44 through Somerset West towards Stellenbosch.
- Continue through Stellenbosch on the R44.
- Shortly after crossing the R304 turn left onto the Helshoogte Rd, sign “Franschhoek / Idas Valley”.
- This road will take you over the mountain on the Helshoogte pass, through Johannesdal and through Pniel and ends in a T-Junction.

Directions from Franschhoek Country House & Villas
- Turn left onto the R45
- Keep on the left all the way to Adam Tas Street then turn right
- Turn left to get onto the N1
- After about 19.5 km, take the 27 exit onto Kuils River Road/R300
- Turn right onto the M12
- Turn left into Robert Sobukwe Road/M10
- Turn left into Borcherds Quarry Road and then left into Bahrain Drive
- At the traffic circle take the third exit and then turn into the first road to the right
- Turn into the fourth road to the left, destination is straight ahead
- Turn left onto the R45.
- Take the road straight up, turn left onto the Simondium Road.
- Turn right onto the R44 (Adam Tas St).
- Turn left onto the N1.
- Take the 39 exit onto the R304 towards Malmesbury.
- Turn left into Malmesbury Road.
- Turn right into Philadelphia Road.
- Turn onto the N7.
- Turn left onto the R45.
- Turn left onto the R Helsgoote Road to Stellenbosch.
- Turn left onto the R44 and drive through Stellenbosch.
- Continue on the R44 towards Somerset West.
- Turn onto the N2.
- Turn left onto the R45.
- Turn left onto the Simondium Road.
- Turn right onto the R44 (Adam Tas St)
- Cross the R101 and turn onto the N1
- Turn left onto the R45.
- Continue till the junction with the R101 where you turn right towards Paarl.
- Turn onto the N1
