- Drive through Hermanus, Grootbos is situated 13km past Stanford on the R43.
- The N2 brings you west past Swellendam and Riviersonderend.
- 10km past Riviersonderend turn on to the R326 to Stanford.
- At Stanford turn left on to the R43. Grootbos is situated 13 km from Stanford on the R43.

- Slight left onto Tower Rd
- Turn left to stay on Tower Rd
- Turn right onto Michigan St
- Turn left onto Borcherds Quarry Rd/M22
- Merge onto Settlers Way/N2 via the ramp to Somerset
- Keep right to continue on N2
- Take exit 90 toward R43/Kleinmond/Hermanus
- Continue onto R43
- At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Royal St
- At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Lord Roberts St
- At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Main Rd/R43
- At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto 7th St/R43Continue to follow R43
