Follow Airport “Exit” signage then pick up on “Cape Town” signs as you leave the Airport area and join the N2 double lane motorway.
Follow City/Stad signboards and loop around the front of the city.
Once closer to city, you will find V&A Waterfront signboards.
You will come to a set of traffic lights with the V&A Waterfront on the right and the Southern Sun Hotel on the left.
Only the two right hand lanes feed into the Waterfront.
Turn right at these traffic lights.
Go over another set of traffic lights. The Waterfront should be in front of you.
At the first traffic circle keep left and travel around the back of the waterfront.
Pass the Victoria & Alfred Hotel which is on the right hand side after the Two Oceans Aquarium and Compact Disc Warehouse.
Follow the road as it curves around to the left.
Turn left into Portswood Road.
Pass the Everard Read Gallery and immediately after the gallery, turn left into a paved inlet (signboard read: V&A Management, Dubai House.
Pass the Portswood Hotel and enter through the boom.
Follow the road around to the left to the Dock House.

Head northwest toward Portswood Rd
Turn left onto Portswood Rd
Merge onto Helen Suzman Blvd/M6
Turn left onto Buitengracht St/M62
Continue straight onto Nelson Mandela Blvd/N1/N2 (signs for M3/Paarl/Cape Town International Airport/Somerset/Muizenberg)
Keep right at the fork to continue on Nelson Mandela Blvd, follow signs for N2/M3/Muizenberg/Somerset West
Continue onto N2
Keep left at the fork to continue on Settlers Way/N2, follow signs for ⛉ N2/Cape Town International Airport/Somerset W
Take exit 16 toward Lughawe Airport
Merge onto Airport Approach Rd
Slight left toward Freight Rd
Continue onto Freight Rd
Freight Rd turns slightly right and becomes Airport Ring Rd
