Directions to Bundox Safari Lodge

  • Take the N12 or N4 highway to Witbank/eMalahleni (from Johannesburg Airport, follow signs to Boksburg to find the N12).
  • Follow the N4 highway past Middleburg (Toll Plaza), Belfast and Machadadorp (Toll Plaza).
  • Follow the Schoemanskloof option on the N4 and then take the R36 to Lydenburg/Mashishing.
  • Follow the R36 to Ohrigstad, go through the Strydom Tunnel and take the R527 to Hoedspruit.
  • Turn right onto the R40 towards Klaserie, and continue along this road until you see the turn off to the left for Eastgate Airport.
  • Turn here (Argyle Road) and you will pass through the control gate where Kapama Game Reserve is on your right.
  • You will pass Eastgate Airport on your left – continue straight for 7km until you turn right onto the Guernsey Road (dirt road).

  • Exit Hoedspruit on the R40 in a southerly direction (towards Hazyview/White River).
  • Exit Hoedspruit on the R40 in a southerly direction (towards Hazyview/White River).
  • Pass through control gates and continue straight down the tar road (Argyle Road).
  • You will pass Eastgate Airport on your left – continue straight for 7km until you turn right onto the Guernsey Road (dirt road).
  • Continue on the Guernsey Road for about 15km before turning right and then heading on for an additional +- 5km until reaching Bundox Safari
