From the airport, follow the signs to the N2 highway to Somerset West.
Take the N2 travelling towards Somerset West and continue on this highway over the Sir Lowry's Pass towards George and Knysna. Approx 380km
Continue on the N2 Highway for approximately 70km from George.
As the road descends a hill, views of the Knysna Lagoon and river can be seen.
Take the left exit at the bottom of the hill, sign-posted to Belvidere / Brenton-on-Sea.
\This road turns sharply to the right, and proceeds under the bridge of the main road
Proceed up the hill approximately 2 km. The lagoon is on your left.
Turn left into Belvidere.
Take the first turning to the right to Belvidere Estate, into Duthie Drive.
Proceed along Duthie Drive, (keep left) past houses, down past the jetty and to the right up the hill.
The hotel property is on your right, the main gate at the top of the hill with signboards pointing to the entrance.

Take the N2 highway out of Port Elizabeth towards George and Cape Town.
Continue through Knysna's town centre, heading towards George.
Drive alongside the lagoon for 5kms and cross the river over the bridge.
Turn right immediately after the bridge at turning Belvidere / Brenton-on-Sea.
This road turns sharply to the right, and proceeds under the bridge.
Proceed up the hill for approximately 2 km with the lagoon on your left
Turn left into Belvidere.
Take the first turning to the right on to Belvidere Estate, into Duthie Drive.
Proceed along Duthie Drive, keeping left, past houses, down past the jetty, and to the right up the hill.
The hotel property is on your right, the main gate at the top of the hill with signboards pointing to the entrance.

Directions from Belvidere Manor Hotel

Leave the hotel property and pass through Belvidere Estate, turning left to go up the short hill
At the T-junction turn right, and drive down to the intersection of the N2
Turn right onto the N2, and proceed up the hill away from the lagoon towards George
Continue through Sedgefield, Wilderness and up Kaaimans Pass.
Stop at Dolphins Point and see if you can spot any dolphins or whales!
Continue up out of the pass, over a traffic circle, and keep left.
The road will bear left and become the N2 freeway, signposted to Cape Town
Continue approx 15kms and take the off-ramp for R404, signed to George Airport.
Turn right, under the freeway, and continue to Airport entrance.
